Ok, I've done the reaserch and I'm more confused then ever. I need to replace my stock (from 1988) Bilsteins. I don't autocross or anything like that. I was leaning towards the Edlebrocks due to the praise (and look), but my car has been lowered and I saw a post about the Edelbrocks traveling 1" less then others, and that they would bottom out. I also heard that the Koni's and Z51 Bilsteins were good to. I'm a little worried that the ride would be harsh with the Bilsteins because I don't have the Z51 package.
I replaced my stock Z52 Bilsteins with KYB's. A lot of the rattling in the interior has greatly diminished. Rides a little softer but I like it. Haven't lost any fillings yet.
if money is not a problem go with blistein's again. but i got some KYB;s for $105 shipped from dynamiccorvettes. 1-800-752-3188
she sets a little higher, no rear dive when i punch it. i reused the front top rubber cushions from the old bilstein's that were almost 20 year sold and 85K on them. i could push them in and out by hand and they rebounded differently from each other.
