Can you run TPI on a 327? Do I need a knock sensor. I have an 88 corvette looking at putting a 327 in it. I see there are no provisions for a knock sensor.
Just curious why you'd want to go from 350 cubes to 327? that being said, I had a 64 with a pumped up 327-it was very fast, but it was also carbureted.

True, a 327 is just a destroked 350. You will lose torque. But damn, some of those old 327s sure ran good!
to make the tpi look bigger to the motor than it really is! I have soo many issues with this project. I do not need the low end torque as with a 4 speed I can get away with it.

Can I assume you're building an RPM motor then, as well as using some good gears? Should be an interesting project, keep us apprised. A high revving SBC can really make some ponies.
