goofy headlights
Heys guys, I got one for ya! My headlights flicker every 4-6 seconds on my 85 vette. I am seeing no voltage spike or drop on the gauge and it is not RPM related. A/C on or off... no difference, fog lights....no difference. I am no electrical guru and hate messing with it but I do need to fix it. Any help here is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

2 tips from me, maybe the relays are going bad OR unhook the wire harness at each light and make sure there is no rust buildup or corrosion, that could be slowling down the juice going into the lights---ALSO--check the grounds next to the wire harness-they could be loose as well....

Most likely you have a voltage regulator in the alternator that is oscillating. You can prove this by unplugging the connector on the alternator when the engine is running and see if the flickering stops. The voltage regulator can be replaced or you can buy a new alternator.
