upgrading the pulley system? hp gains?
I was thinking about getting a underdrive pulley set, electric water pump and the smog pump eliminator for my 86. right now i have alot of other mods like intake, heads, cam, full exhaust and more. does anyone know if these items will have a noticable hp increase? let me know! thanks!

u have an l98 and i have an lt1.. but i did an underdrive pulley switch and i felt a slight increase.. along wiht the headers it helped me break the tires loose. i was once told that deleting ac and powersteering it would give you 15-20 hp on the dyno. i mean the higher hp you have to start with the higher gain you will get from electric water and under drive pullies because it is a ratio to youre total power.

You get nothing from the AIR eliminator powerwise, its cosmetic and weight savings.
If you get the right pulley set, you're looking at about 10hp.
If you deleted the WP as belt-driven, maybe another 10.
