Ok, Dumb Newbie Question here

Theft light blinks when I lock the doors and exit the vehicle. (a good thing) When I return and put the door key in everything is fine. When I put the ignition key in and turn it to start the horn blows. What am I doing wrong? Ill give you a second to stop laughing at me and then you can reply. LoL Thanks

That sounds like VATS. My dad's acts up like that, too. But he has an '84. Are you locking the door with a remote or the key? Make sure you unlock it with whatever you locked it with. If you're locking it from inside, try locking it with the key instead. There's a number of things, which could be going on. Could be faulty..?
