no o2 sensor
What problems would you be looking at on an 89 that should be hitting 400 flywheel horsepower?Should the o2 sensor be installed in the exhaust or headers if the car has long tube headers?

well technically you want it closer to the engine so it can read best...
be b4 the cats! some companies add 02 bungs in their collectors others dont so you have to put them in the exhaust. if you put in the exhaust put it as close to the header collectors as possible.

You dont want it further downstream than the collector, even that far can cause open loop issues at idle.
Most of the aftermarket ones will have a bung in them already.
