Default best place to buy diff gaskets?

Other than the dealership, are there any recommended places to buy diff gaskets from?

Good luck at the dealership. Dana never made one, so consequently the dealership has no source. If you really want one, you'll have to make it yourself.

Great, maybe I will just keep replacing the fluid as it leaks out.

RTV is used to seal the diff.

What you want is the RIGHT STUFF from Permatex.
Follow the simple directions and you'll have a leak free (from the mating surfaces) rear. If only the three oil seals were so easy.

So the RIGHT STUFF from Permatex, is the best eh?

Did you guys use the air compressor hose and the oil bottle technique to fill the oil, or is it actually possible to powr a bottle under there?

I had a problem with sealing when I had synthetic gear oil -- and the sealing was done correctly, but not with the RIGHT STUFF.
Since I took it apart and resealed it, I no longer use synthetic gear oil and I havn't had any problems.

Invest in $10 fluid pump from the parts store. You can even use it to pump fluid out of the diff if you're creative. It threads onto the quart bottles.

Yeah the Right Stuff is worth every penny. Its more expensive than tradtional RTV and sealers but I have yet to see one that is better than this.
Its also great to use for your intake manifold as well.

Unlike Toms experience I have synthetic in my rear and no leaks. However, when I performed my D44 install I replaced all three oil seals and used the "RIGHT STUFF"

Good luck!
