Default C4 Trailing arm bracket bolt torque????

I'm installing poly bushings on the rear suspension trailing arms of my 93 C4. Ran into a problem. The 93 GM shop manual does not list the torque for the (3) bolts that attach the trailing arm bracket to the frame. Anybody know what torque is required for these bolts?? TIA.

Trailing Arms? Are you talking about the 3 Axle Tie rod assembly bolts located on the rear of the Diff? The are torqued to 55lb ft. 74 Nm
Or the Wheel Spindle Control rod bracket bolts? 70 lb ft 95 Nm However, I don't know why you would mess with the Spindle Control rod bracket on a bushing install.

Sometimes it is a PITA to get what you need from the HELMs (INFO Overload) good luck

Mike

I know it's not what you are looking for, but you can find another suspension bolt with the same diameter, thread pitch and length (between the head and the mating threads) and use that torque value. I've had to do it in the past myself. Some loctite is good insurance too.

Good luck

According to my helms the Wheel Spindle Control rod bracket is attached to the frame (off the car) by three bolts then the upper and lower Wheel spindle control arms are attached to the bracket by one bolt each through the bracket and the bushing. So I think this is the torgue he is looking for.

Larry what does the rear suspension parts break out call the part you are looking for. I can't find a trailing arm or trailing arm bracket in my helms. However, when I installed rear bushings I found the torque for every bolt in my helms. If you want I will scan the Page with all of the torques and the picture with the GM names of the rear end parts.

This IS the bracket I'm referring to. Thanks Mike.
