Ok, 1989 ZF 6spd. Clutch will sometimes slip in 6th, sometimes 5th at lower RPMs when moderate throttle is applied. Doesn't slip at all in lower gears. Clutch fluid was checked and topped off after this was noticed.
So tell it to me straight, how bad is it? Do you think I'm looking at a leaking hydraulic cylinder, or is it something perhaps more promising?
What happens when you nail it in 3rd gear? If the rpms go up but not the speed, it's time for a clutch looksee. One cause of clutch slippage is an oil leak. Check it out. If your clutch is contaminated with oil, it's toast. Change it quick or you'll ruin the flywheel, too.
