Mass Air Flow Sensor options
What are my options for a MAF? Bosch (stock), Granatelli and are there any other options?
I blew up my original one on a nitrous backfire and the mechanic got me a "re-manufactured" unit. Well, ever since then it pulls about 20 % less air flow (as seen via DataMaster) and I believe the MAF to be the culprit. I have yet to find another one locally that I can test their MAF on my car to see whether or not it actually is the MAF that has gone bad. There are some on ebay that say GM Mass Air Flow Meter but does it have to be a specific part number for my car?

Get a new unit from Autozone, Granatelli works but its not going to give you the power increases they advertise.

I have one that came off my car, and the car went mid 10s with it. Its gutted out and works fine. No need for it anymore with the DFI. I just took pictures of it to post on Ebay - Let me know if your intersted and we can work something out.

If you have a local bone yard with F-body cars pick up a used MAF from an '86-'89 Camaro or Firebird.
Or you might buy a new Wells. This might hold up bette with NOS as it doesn't use the stock style internal sensor wires.
