Received Binary File -- Now What?
I am trying to understand the world of tuning. To get started I purchased the package from Moates that included TunerCat RT, an emulator, 2 chips and several cables to make it all work. I believe I have successfully loaded the drivers and software from Moates onto my laptop. I also contacted pcmforless and purchased a binary file to help me get started. The car is a 90 L98 and I have performed numerous mods that require a tune to match.
I received the binary file but I have absolutely no idea what to do with it. The email I received told me to datalog using DataMaster and to send one big file back to pcmforless. I do not know how to get started, where to load the binary or how to access DataMaster. Any pointers would be very much appreciated.
