Gray Permatex
Has anyone used this stuff for their intake install? Let me be the first to tell you NOT to. I let mine cure for 48 hours before first running it today and ended up pulling it back off tonight due to a major leak. The crap was still gooey when I had the intake in my hands. Now I get to wait another 24 hours to run it again.

Nope it's a permatex product that says it for gaskets. Yea right. I woulda used black but I put the intake on at 1am Thursday morning and this was all I had hanging on the wall. The used tube along with another full tube are now residing in my garbage can.

You didn't use Permatex no# 2 nonhardening gasket sealant did you?
It's gray, however, it won't harden and is not a good chose for a SBC intake.

Not sure, I'd have to dig it out. I don't recall reading anything on it that said non-hardening though.
