Changing brake light on an 86?

Changing brake light on an 86?
How the heck do you get to it to change it? From under the bumper I can see where it goes into the back of the light but I sure can't reach it.

You mean the rear lights, not the 3rd brake lights, right? You need to take the license plate off, and then you can reach across to where the bulbs are. It's tight, and someone with long thin arms is best for the job, but it's do-able. I've done the inner two of the four, but not yet the outer two.
I've been told you can take off the inner fender liner on that side and reach it somewhat more easily, but I have not tried that.
