Basically I was wondering if anyone else tried this.
I just replaced my slave (second time leaking) and my master cylinder for the clutch. I cleaned out the braided line and then filled system with Silicone Dot 5 fluid.
Seems to work well, I did it about 2 weeks ago on my 1996 Vette.
My thought was where my car sits for awhile in the winter, that Dot 5 won't absorb moisture. And from what I saw with my first Slave unit the bore had rust in it.
