Default Corsa Exhaust

I just got my 96 LT4 and I was torn between Borla or Corsa. I have now decided to get the Corsa exhaust and im wondering where will be the cheapest place to get it. I found it at Ecklers for $899 and that looks like the cheapest so far....does anyone else know where to find it cheap?

There was a price increase on the Corsas a while back so I doubt that you are going to get a better deal than the $899 even with the groupbuy.

I had Flowmasters in mine and I could not live with the interior resonance. It was too much and I installed Dynomax, they are quiet and I'm thinking into buying a cat-back system along with short headers. I might go with the Flowmaster cat-back wich is not as loud my previous pipes. Other owners talk good about the magnaflow system. I heard the borla one produces a lot of resonance too.

I used to have a Borla on mine ....any more than 30 mins driving and I had a headache, I have a Corsa now and as far as interior resonance ...well there aint none ........PERIOD , even if the Corsa cost $500 more I would still go out and buy the Corsa

I heard B&Bs are loud on resonance....for resonance level I think it goes

B&B, then Borla, then Corsa....Corsa being the quietest

I remeber when Corsa first came out with the system, The Vette Dr's replaced a set of B&B's on one of their ZR1 customer cars...gained something like 9 HP going from a 3" to a 2.5" system....

B&B has a reducer in the resonator that chokes it down to 2.5" to give you SOME backpressure. So you buy a 3" system and only get the performance of a 2.5" system...go figure.

Not much. The stock exhaust is pretty much a damn good exhaust, it just isn't loud enough.

I have Corsa on both of my cars. I've experimented with different exhausts and found the stock to be the best with Corsa second.

I have a new exhaust on the way(it's in the prototype stage), once I get that on, I'll take it to the track for some results, though the company that's making it said it made the same power as the Corsa.

Borla is to loud and raspy - No matter what size of plate was used. Had their CAT-back on my 97 WS-6 and would not buy again. Now on 95 6 speed vette - Magnaflow........

I am a fan of the Corsa... the quiet is worth every penny of the price.

I don't see why the driver and passenger has to subject themselves to such a boom just to sound cool to the outside world. It's what I hear inside that counts.
