Got a set of KYB's on Ebay last year for about $125.00 + shipping.
They still sell for the same price and run great.

I just installed a set of QA1s. They are the best shock I have ever had on this car. Much better than bilstiens but I don't know how they compair to the KYBs except they are easier to adjust than the KYBs.

The KYBs are probably the best "bang for the buck" shocks out there for the C4s. The QA1s are good shocks, but they are more comparable to Konis than to KYBs.
