I would think it would last well over 100,000 miles...maybe 125,00 if you don't constantly drive the car like you stole it.

Mine only lasted 100K. There was some drag strip abuse in that.

If you drive normally, it will outlast the rest of the car.

After abusing the hell out of mine, I replaced it at 65,000, I'm now at 133,000, still abusing it and it's still holding up.

My GMC truck had over 192,000 when I sold it on the original clutch which is still in it.

Yeah, the engine will spin up and you will notice that the car is not accelerating with the motor.

Also you will probably smell the reek of burnt clutch.

But I would say on average, normally driven, 125k. My vette's lasted till 135k, when I replaced it.

When I sold my '91 it had 206,000 on the original clutch. But I autocrossed it only a few times a year, and drag raced only at stop lights.

Well this clutch now has 209K and still holding. Hi l1sikes, I'm the guy who bought your red 91 L98. BTW, Love the car and it was a pleasure doing bussiness with you.

I know I should change the clutch soon but I am going to wait till I drop in the new engine. Maybe this spring.

yeah my Dual Mass warped at 70k and caused it to slip thats why i needed one... What would cause the FW to warp like that... I went with the Fidanza Alum and the carolina clutch stage 3 clutch pack. it was tricky at first but i got it down.

This is kind of like asking "How long is a rope?" It all depends. Someone that's good with a clutch and does not race or anything can indeed make the clutch outlast the rest of the car.

For the person, on the other hand, that is not good with a clutch and is abusing the car constantly, the life could probably measured in hours.

Good luck,
