I just got a service engine soon light on my '91 TPI, and i checked the engine bay and found thick frost over the lines comming from my AC pump, and the rubber lines are solid with ice. what could the problem be and how might i fix this? please help!!!!!

Check your codes. More than likely you have a bad A/C pressure sensor.
Its not low on freon, it is your ac sensor on the high pressure side. the ac system is supposed to cycle if it doesn't cycle it will freeze up like your system is. Low freon would cause no or very little cooling or frost. Your system is just staying on and not cycling on and off causing it to freeze up
