Those three little bolts are 7mm, IIRC. Lowes has a set of stubby GearWrenches that go down to 6mm. I sure wish I had my set when I was taking my rad. shroud off. Craftsman also makes a ratcheting 7mmx8mm wrench. Just be patient and you'll get them off.
I got the pass side off, but gave up for the night. Give it another shot tomarrow..
Kind of funny. I'm replacing my radiator and I stopped at that point last night too. Those little screws are a pain. Why didn't they route them from inside of the air intake opening so you could get to them???
That is what you need to do before you put them back in. Remove the little clamps and put them on the other side and now you can put the screws in from the air dam side.
Ian,
When I took my radiator out of my 94 Friday night I took both horns off and the air pump down in the front wells by the parking lights. By doing that I was able to get a rachet with an extension on two of the three small bolts on either side of the lower part of the shroud. The upper one was still a pain. At least four of the six are easy that way.
Got mine back together yesterday afternoon. New radiator, 160 thermostat, fresh coolant, and some water wetter. Let it idle in the garage for 30 minutes and the temp went up a lot slower than it used to. Got up to 228 eventually but the fan kicked on and brought it back down to 197. I also have the fan over-ride set up on one fan. Using that fan by itself keeps it under 200 in the garage.

This is on a 92 degree day in FL.
You are right, and the racheting 7mm wrench is the key to that last pesky one. I bought a set from Harbor Freight, worth more than the purchase price on this one job alone.
