eh, give or take, about 8"x 5" x 2" or so.

I don't remember... consider it book sized.

Reason is I was wondering about gutting out the bread box and I think there's 5" x 3" x 16" (give or take) room without having to dig into the dash. If you could just place the ECM in there on it's side, you'd have the chip facing you and have a hinged door (glove box style) to conceal it.

It would make chip access very easy and the ECM wiring might already be long enough to do so.

I do understand that the ECM gets hot, but you could have some sort of insulated lining protecting everything.

If it gets hot and you insulate it to protect the "stuff" around it you will fry the ECM. If it gets hot find a way to get airflow to it, for "cooling".

Sounds like an interesting project. Post pics when you get it done
