Weight?
How much does my car weigh? One of the guys I work with tried to tell me his '01 1/2 mustang coupe weighs less than my '92 coupe? I dont think hes right but I love to have some # to prove him wrong...

It may be closer than you think Dec 91 Car and Driver has the 92 Coupe at 3424.

The "Corvette Black Book" lists the '92 coupe curb weight at 3,338lbs.
I'd say it will be a HP & gearing race as your two rides are very close in weight.

Seems like the going weight for these things is anywhere from 3100-3400 depending on equiment.
The new vettes have a weight of 3132 as advertised. The new mustangs are a tad heavier than that.
Tell your work buddy, his might be lighter, but yours is still nicer.

Im gonna enjoy it anyway it goes. My car is 13yrs old, His is almost new. Hes got 8k in the motor to get 340rwhp. When I get done ill have less than 1k in it and my numbers will be somewhere colse to his im guessing. Always fun to argue with the pony show guys....
