Default Turn Off Oil Change Light

I have a 93 vette, 6 speed, 56K.

My Oil Change light just went on. Is there a way to reset the light. I know that the 93 vette is the year before they changed the computers to have the ability to reprogram without a chip. I think it is a generation I not the generation II.

Before some azz tells you to buy a helms Manual here ya go:
1.turn the key to the run position but don't start the engine. 2. Press the ENG MET button on the trip monitor. Within five seconds, press the ENG Met button again. 3. Within 5 seconds of step 2, Press and hold the Gauges button on the trip monitor. The change oil light will begin to flash. 4. Hold the Guages button until the Change oil light stops flashing and goes out. Your done!

You don't need the Helms for that you need the owners manual
