Default Just ordered my big injector

I just ordered some 96s injector from racetronic. I am getting ready for the DFI Gen 7 to come at later date. When my 96s is maxed out than I am satisfy with the amount of hp the car is making.

Do you realized what kind rwhp my combo gonna make? You are talking 1000rwhp here. The 50s I got there will not get me there. Originally were plan to run 16 injector and 50s each. Since I ditched the mega squirt and decided on DFI. With DFI I can only run 8 injector. If you understand the math you will know what I am talking about. First get my big injector. 2nd the DFI box will be here at later date, 3nd going to the pro for tuning on dyno.

didnt know you dumped the mega squirt. ok i been going crazy for 2 weeks trying to find a complete lt4 fuel rail setup. dealers wanted 600+ just for the rails nothing else, if they can find them. found a new complete lt4 fuel rail setup in Tx. good deal 400. you have to remember i dont want 800 or 900 hp, iam happy for 550 +rwhp. i'll only need 42s. i just want to get to my goal. then i stop.

I got my 94 fuel rail on ebay for 35$ and my 95 intake for $75 they are always around. they are two of them on ebay now. But you won't able to use them on your 93 intake because of the cross over tube.

A side on that, the 92-93 fuel rails are very restrictive any way. If you pull the rail and remove the injector, you will see a stupid 3/8 tubing inside the rail. Where 94-96 rails are about 9/16 in diameter not tubing. There is no such thing LT4 fuel rail. 94-96 fit all regardless of LT4 or not.

PS. I take it back. 94-96 fit all but won't mate up with your 93 fuel line fitting. But if you gonna do custom fuel rail fitting and a new fuel line than i than that is correct.

I can sale you my 50s in the winter for the price less than a set of 42s if your are interested. My 50s I paid $480 from racetronic that was 1 1/2 ago and probably 5000 mile on it.

Bruce you should worry about making your system run correctly first. You have made no significant power yet. I keep seeing these 1000RWHP numbers thrown around and you have not even gotten the car to run correctly. I see the validity of wanting to plan for the future but you have to crawl before you run. WHEN you produce a 1000RWHP dyno sheet I will be the first guy to congradulate you, BUT until then I think you should concentrate on getting your stuff running and all the bugs worked out and not talking about the 1000s of HP you WILL make. We are luckey enought to have alot of very smart FI guys in theis forum, if it was that easy there would be a few guys in here already who have done it.

But isn't there any aftermarket hi-flow fuel rails for lt-1's. I saw aeromotive have for ls1/ls6, but nothing for lt-1. Or i just need to modify my lt-1 fuel rail to accept the AN fittings. How much power will these fuel rails capable to handle??

He ought to be looking at a BS3 with big injectors. The Gen VII is already behind when you compare to the BS3.

Guys
The hard ware parts is working rock solid now. How can I say that??? at the track we were poping 18-20psi of boost thru my ported LT1 that flowed 260cfm. It ran like dog. You tell me is this hardware problem or software problem. on a 20psi of boost is how much cfm is that on a large turbo?? you tell me. The software part is my major problem. With the new engine management I am sure I will reach my goal. If it does not pop 1k hp as I have planned for over a yrs now. I am going to get rid of this car. As you and all awared making 1k hp is ain easy, take a lot of times and money. But I believed I am getting very close.
