Default Vert X bars still available from GM

Gm is still providing replacement X bars for vert frames.

But the 10 year replacement part rule may be running out soon.

Chris at

parts@superiorperformancechevy.com

can get them

Might be a good time to replace if yours are as beat up as mine from speed bumps and off road excursions

Not bad! I think around $ 350 plus shipping for both bars and the centerplate

Problem is, it is not a direct replace

I have been told by R D racing, that You have to drill holes etc. which is fine if you are doing this to a coupe, but a lot of extra work if you are doing it to a rdstr

We may have until sometime in 2006 before Gm drops this part

I'll ask Chris

I had to replace 1/2 of my x-brace last year. It was $90 from the local Chevy dealer. Much cheaper than I expected.

I have the Cross Frame from www.r-dracing.com its a very strong, nice piece, only had to drill a few holes, no big deal. It really stiffened up the car, its much stronger then the stock stamped piece.
