Default Anti -freese Questions

I am getting ready to do a tear down on mine (whole upper end) I figured I would flush the system first so as not get any junk in the new heads. I was going to use a regular flush (prestone maybe dupont)
My question is changing to the new (pink) antifreese, if all green is out and w/water being clear, is there any issues going to the newer stuff?
The reason being the newer being safer on alum. heads etc. TIA m7

I changed to the red 2 years ago in my 94 .
Never had a problem ,I run 100% coolent no water but that is up to you .

The new stuff as in the coolant that is safe to mix with all types? Be aware there is a flush and then a super flush if you use Prestone brand. If the system is really dirty you may want to run two bottles. I drained my system, ran water through it, filled her up and used the super flush and drove for six hours worth, drained, hosed her out, then refilled with new coolant.

Has anyone else done this ? It would make sense to go to the newer less corrosive formula, provided compatability withe parts
