Default Radio problems

I have a problem with my Bose system. I turned it on & I have no sound, there's power & the stations appear on the dial, antenna goes up & down....I found some water in the storage compartment behind the passenger seat, & there is a control box of some type under the covering in there. Does this have anything to do with the system??
any help would be appreciated..by the way its a 93 coupe.

That box in the rear compartment is the radio receiver

When the exact same thing happened on my '85, it was the Bose relay - was up under the dash - you could see it straight above your right eye if you pull the cover above the pass feet and put your butt in the pass seat and your feet up over the pass headrest...

Not sure if '93 is the same or if things are in the same place, but on mine, a new $12.00 relay made the exact same problem instantly fixed. Good Luck! :-)

My 92 Hatchback had the part behind the glovebox. I thought only the convertibles had it behind the seat--if it got wet you probably need to replace the receiver

That box is the reciever. I have a 93 Convert. but in 93 according to my books, the recievers were all put behind the passenger seat.
