OK, finally last night, after many nights of work, we finished and fired it up. After about a half dozen tries it fired and ran really rough and wouldn't hold an idle without my foot on the gas. I didn't have my timing light with me so I didn't get a chance to set the base timing. I have had a few people suggest that I may be off a tooth on the distributor. Any thoughts?
What other base things do I need to set/adjust after firing one up that has been sitting in pieces for a couple of months.
