1985 - AIR injection cycling
On my 1985, when does the ECM switch on AIR injection into the exhaust? The injection tubes in my manifolds are cut back flush with the inside diameter of the manifold and I'm afraid it my not be diluting well with the exhaust gases. My AFRs are high in the 16-17:1 area.

The cycle is: Engine start..port valve opens and pumps air into the exhaust manifolds for a few seconds, switch to Divert and it pumps air to the converter and is supposed to Dump to atmosphere while decelerating.
