Default Finally broke in 383 LT4

Have about 1,500 miles on the new engine. Still not running syn but able to get some dyno runs and a tune.

Here is the dyno sheet...

This is on a Mustang Dyno.

Something is up with the HP as it just tops off at the end. Not sure why.

Things pulls hard as hell now. Fun to drive! Can't wait to get to the track next Wednesday to see how much time I'll gain.

EDIT: built to a 10:1 compression.

My HP curve does not flatten out like yours does at 5200-6000. This indicates a limitation on something, what size TB do you have? What cam do you have?

Of course the pieces that do not restrict a 350 could restrict a 396

I think you can do alittle work on the upper RPM range but over all it looks great. You have the typical 383/396 wide flat TQ curve and all and all it looks great. Congrats on getting it running again

You're going to the track on Wed night? I was thinking about it too! Let's see how the weather holds out!

did you get AF readings with the dyno? If so, what were they. By the way, on getting it done.
