I'm out of town currently, but at home I was able to install all of the passenger side plug wires (taylor spiro pro) without moving anything out of the way (even got them to fit the stock looms which I was happy about). Of course, the driver side is another story... I had limited tools and no way to jack the car up ar home so I was stuck looking for a way to do it from the top... I couldn't see how to do them (this was with the ASR moved away). Now that I am here (parents home) I can bring back my jack and stands/ramp as I understand that the drivers side is accessible from under the car. Is this the case? If so - what will I need to do to finish the job that way? - - - (or perhaps removing the inner fender and the drivers side wheel will make this possible?) As always - thanks for any help!

I tried from under the car and could get enough leverage on the wires to seat them in the opti.
The way to do the opti insert is from the front of the engine. You need to loosen the serpentine belt and remove the tensioner. That will give you room to get your hand in there. Some people loosen the PS pump for more room but I did not. One other thing to make it easier is to take out the inner fender center section to reach under the A/C and alternator to feed the wires through. It might help to get the front up on ramps just to get into those two areas, but from under the car is not necessary.

I did it a few weeks ago. Pulling the tensioner is the way to go, IMHO.
Ok great - I did the plugs already - so that is out of the way. I just got back home now and brought plenty of tools with me to get the job done. Thanks for everyones input! - the tensioner will be on its way off Wednesday.
