Default dart block question

hi !! can someone tell me if my 3.75 stroke callies crank and 5.85 oliver rods out of my lt1 work in a dart little aftermarket block?? not sure if i want to try making 1000 rwhp trough a lt1 block!! any advise would be highly appreciated. thanks ray

I don't believe Dart offers a one piece rear main seal block. I don't know if you could use a newer rear main cap and machine the block for the one piece seal retainer or not (if you have thousands wrapped up in your Callies crank).? Your rods will work, as long as you have the block decked (not less than 9.00") for whatever the compression height of your custom pistons will be. You are right, though. 1,000 HP is a bit much for any stock small block.

What IF... you used splayed mains and cryo everthing...even the stock block
