Back up lights
First of all..........Been awhile, hope everyone is doing well.......... My backup lights are not working..It's on the same fuse as the shift from 1st to 4th which is a 15 amp. The fuse seems to be ok...Any ideas!!!! THANKS

This is a common problem.A mechanic once told me that just cleaning the switch can solve the issue. But, for the effort to take the switch off in order to clean it, you might as well just replace it.

I had my a new rebuilt tranny put into my vette at the dealer and a few months later I noticed the backup lights weren't working. i took it to the dealer under warranty and it wasnt the switch on my tranny. I later found out when I was under the car that a wire was spliced in half by a mouse. I taped it back together and the lights now work.
