Default Grounding cable?

While waxing the vert yesterday, I discovered what appears to be a grounding cable hanging from a wiring harness behind the left rear wheel. It is tucked up high near the muffler and only discovered as my polishing rag grazed it. What is this and where does it connect? All electricals are stock and everything appears to be working normally. I could not find an obviuos grounding screw.

Thanks in advance for the help.

It may go to the antenna. I think it has two on it if I remember right. Someone may have left one off, thinking it unimportant.

There is one on either side with a large (relatively) metal end that goes onto the bolt that holds the rear sway bar.
