What shocks should I get?
I have 95 VERT with the FE1 suspension. I am looking to upgrade to a new set of shocks. Any suggestions (and why)? I am leaning towards the Bilstein HD Z51 for VERT. ???

Whatever you do,dont bother with the Edelbrock IAS or whatever they call them.I put a set on my lowered truck, spent over $300 and they are junk.

Bilsteins are a fine shock.
So are Koni.
Halshock makes a good unit.
The rest are "get what you pay for" type, except for the Edelbrock. I feel the AIS units they make are pure advertizing hype, with no substance...unlike most of Edelbrock's products.

I went with the Z51s on my FE1 vert and I love them!!! Firm, but not jarring

I have Konis on my car and love them. I would highly recommend them
. I previously tried the QA1s and was not too impressed with them.

I put 60k miles/4yrs on my Konis and they drove as good on the last day as the first.
Always wandered how the QA1s stacked up. They came out after I had Koni's on my car.
