Default do i need to pull the motor? 95 6spd

sorry if this is a stupid question but i dont know, to put a bigger cam in the 95 lt1s does the motor have to be pulled or can it be changed with the motor in the car?

Just did my Hot Cam install. You can leave it in, you just have to take your time and move everything out of your way.
Word of advice is to not try and cut corners to save time.
If it looks like it need to be moved, take it out. It makes the job much easyier.

I wouldn't. As much work as it is to install a cam in these cars, it's even more to remove the engine, especially for the uninitiated in an unmodified car that's probably never been apart before.

You can leave it in, but everything else in front must come out.

you always need to pull the motor!!!!!

That way when the "might as well monster" comes out, you haven't wasted anytime.

You can rent the engine hoist at any tool rental place, and buy the engine stand for 50 to 65 bucks

I am telling you now...I told you so!

The only things that will be a little easier this way is removing the damper and pan. Besides that, it's still just as much work to put the cam in, plus removing and replacing the engine. Ludicrous.
