Default G92 Code Rearend?

G92; This is only a D36?
Listed in the RPO codes as"Rear axle performance ratio"?
G87 =D44 correct?
Looking at a '90 auto , the codes show G92 / G44 (3.07) for the ratio.
I thought autos only came with 2.59 / 2.73 gears?

Ragtops got the mighty 2.73 gear with the G92 code. Coupes got the 3.07.

G92 is the useless code, it means nothing by itself except that the performance axle option for that car was chosen.

Usually it triggers 2.73 for verts and 3.07 coupes, but things can vary by year, making it more meaningless.

I wouldnt even look at it, the other Gxx codes carry the meaning.

If you have a automatic coupe and Z51/Z52 you definitely have the 3.07 rear if you have the G92 or G44 code.
