Default New Cam vs ECM changes?

Upon switching cams, What info about the cam do I need to know, and how do I determin what changes need to be made? In my bin (mask 32b, 1987 L98) where do I go (Tables, etc.) to make appropriate changes?? Using tuner cat or Tuner RT Pro.

I would say do the cam swap and then scan the car to see what you need. Check your BLM's vs RPM's and Load to see if you need more or less fuel, esp. at throttle tip in. Idle will probably need some attention, do that and your part throttle fueling, then WOT. Once fueling is close check for knock / timing retard and adjust main spark table from there.

Tables like Accel Enrich vs LV8, and TPS. Then fine tune with MAF tables. If fueling is off for all conditions start with Inj. Constant, but if you have not changed injectors that may not be required.

Work with your main spark table for timing changes, then go to your PE spark for WOT adjustments.

Main thing is to scan and understand what the car needs.
