I looked at and measured both. Distance to the bottom from the rails is identical front and rear. The only real difference I see is that the drain plug is on the LH side directly down from the oil level sensor, whereas on the Vette pan it's at the rear. Since there is nothing underneath the pan under all but the very front of it, there are no clearance problems.
BTW, if you want Vetteman's Corvette pan instead of the F-body one, go for it. It won't hurt my feelings a bit.
