Default i want fuel efficient power

I know I will get a laugh out of this but here it goes. I want serious hp and i still want to drive it every day. I would like low 12s. What do you guys think the best cam or head combo to do this. I do alot of city driving with it. I see alot of people talk about the hp they acieve with there mods but not to many talk about how much more gas they are burning. Thanks for any suggestions. I have a 1994 lt1 with hypertech, air foil, throttle bypass, Vortec forced air induction, flow master mufflers

Sounds like you may be a good candidate for Nitrous. Thought about it?

Default not sure

I am not sure about nitrous. I dont want to have to rebuild it a second time if i mess up the interior with it. I want it to last a long time.

Buy a ZR1, take it to Haibeck, get 560+ HP and still get 25+ MPG.

Oh, did you say affordably?? Sorry

Cheap, Fast, Reliable.

Pick two.

Seriously though, consider nitrous. Assuming your bottom end is in good condition and you use it prudently, you can add the extra power only when you want it, and enjoy good fuel economy when you don't.

The ZR-1 idea sure sounds nice too..
