I had a hose bust on the highway and the temp soared, I replaced the hose and now my fans stay on all the time and the car runs really rough. I can understand the car running rough, just don't know why my fans stay on.
It was a heater hose and blew near the back of the engine. But I will take a look at the opti this weekend(well if I don't get blown away).
I am throwing a code, not sure if it is connected. I am getting a 64(right oxygen sensor lean), now the coolant leaked right over the O2 sensor. Could the sensor be damaged by the Coolant, I am guessing yes. But, would love to know for sure.
I just had the same occurance last night only it was the front upper. Totally bummed out!
I will attempt to look into it tomorrow but I fear I may have ruined that ill designed opti dudad. May the force be with me.
