Default Injectors

Had a problem with my 91 coupe surging at crusing speed and after it warmed up it had a rough idle, almost to the point of dying. It was hard to start after it sat for short time, with a little blue smoke coming from the exhaust and it ran rough for a few minutes. Read a lot of post on this forum and came to the conclusion that it was the injectors. 150000 miles on my L98, figured it couldnt hurt. Ordered a set of the pink top ford injectors from five-O motorsports, they were like $218. at my door. Well, 3 and half hours later and my car runs better than it has in years!!!! Smooth, I mean really smooth idle, no surging, no smoke, and it even got rid a slight hesitation when taking off (that I didnt really notice til it was gone) Im sooooo excited!! Just thought id let you all know about some of the problems a new set of injectors would fix..plus my wife dont understand when i tell her about all of it. Had to share it with someone. Thanks to all who have posted in here. It was some pretty great info. I plan to do alot more reading!

It's great when we change something out or make a repair and get a noticible improvement, makes all the work worthwhile

Congratulations, I think we all know what it feels like when the car is finally running like it should. P.S. I bet there's a lot of crap your wife says that you don't understand either.

About 2 years ago. Same symptoms. Same fix. Same results!!!
Only, I had a local tuner shop install 'em. Watching what they went through, it was a good choice!
