Header Gaskets ???

I just got my 2151-1 Hooker Headers today they came with gaskets.

My question is should I use the gaskets they came with or are their better ones that I should use ???

I dont want to have to change them later I would rather do it right the first time around.

I have great success with the old fashion copper gaskets from Mr. Gasket. I hear that the aluminum ones are just as good.

I used Percy's deadsoft aluminum gaskets. Have not had a leak since I installed them last year.

Boy am I glad to hear that, I bought Percy's too for my header install.

You can spend lots of money as recommended above, or just keep re-tightening the header bolts as you should, anyhow, for a short time and you should remain leak free.

I'm using the Mr G coppers too, no problems. Hard to beat copper or aluminum for the long run. I also have stainless headers and bolts. Although I've checked them several times, I've never had to retighten them.
