Default Ccm Module

Guys at the stealership told me yesterday they were waiting on a special scanning tool to scan the car and they didnt want to just throw parts at it. Ya know thats fine but this car will soon be down a month and I am relly at the brink of my patients level. From this dicussion reagarding the CCM that all it could be or could it be something else FEEDBACK GUYS I am going nucking futs

It would help if you posted what year your car is.

You can pull codes yourself or tell the dealership to take the car to Autozone and they will pull them for free.

Do a search on 'codes' and you will see how to pull them.

There are some J tools that allow them to mate to the CCM and ETBCM connectors so that they can scan and test for ohm/volts. If you read the end of the post you'll see where I give you the step by step that they will be performing except I left out the part about connecting the J tool adapters. With a DVM and a small nail, you don't need the adapters. It would be nice to have but not necessary. Just don't back probe the connectors.
