Deleting the ASR is not a wise thing to do.It can be shut off so it is not an issue. Why do you want to delete it?There is more to the system than the actuator where the cable go and deleting the unit will not disable it all just the throttle pedal release. The ABS will still kick in I believe. The only way to bypass it easily is to push the button and turn it off when you get in the car.

You can use a cable from a 95 Z28.

But of course you will lose your cruise.

ABS will still work and ASR will still kick in on occasion.

I mainly got rid of it because I wanted to clean up my engine bay.

That's a one reason, and i've already eleminated everything but the cable. I use the car mainly for drag racing. I'm installing a solid diff. now and i won't be using the ABS anymore. That's the reason i want to know which throttle cable to use.
Thanks guys..........

AHH I see the reason now.I read there is a way to set it up so it is off by default a while back not sure how to do it but you might try a search on it.That way the ABS won't kick in unless your taking that out too.
