Default Super charger

Thinking of skipping the rollers rockers, cam, and just throw in a super charger. Do they make super chargers for the 91? Anyone have any feed back, or best place to ask about them. Thanks in advance.

Or, you can do all of these AND the supercharger, and get the benefits of everything.

Depends on who you mean by 'they', but generally, yes, there are supercharger kits available for '91 Corvettes.

The best place to check out what's available in the way of superchargers for Corvettes is BlowerWorks (formerly the Carroll Supercharging Company). Their site is www.blowerworks.net. Greg Carroll is the owner and he REALLY knows his stuff when it comes to supercharging these cars. That is THE place to start.

You could also take a look in the C4 FI/Nitrous section of this forum (the 'FI' stands for Forced Induction...ie. supercharging and turbo charging). There's alot of good information in that section, and a lot more information in the archives, so do a search on a specific topic.

I picked up a used Paxton Supercharger this past summer that I am planning on installing on my '89 6-speed coupe, so I'm still learning about what it means to 'supercharge' a car. I've already installed a set of roller rockers, and I'm considering an intake, large tube runners, ported plenum, and a 52mm throttle body. While the supercharger itself will provide impressive gains, doing all the items I've listed IN ADDITION to the supercharger will only serve to improve the overall performance and maximize those gains.

Good luck.
