Yes it has a roller cam; I believe that came in '87, for sure '88 had it too.

The #113 heads ('88-'91) came with non-hardened guide plates and self aligning pressed rockers on 3/8" studs (7/16" threads).

I think the roller cam (along with Al heads) started in '86 on the roadsters only. This package went across the board in '87.

Didnt mean get any arguments going. So my 91 coupe does have roller lifters in it, correct me if im wrong.. That would mean that it has a roller cam, that would require a bronze gear on the distributor? Ive read somewhere that if you put a roller cam and lifters in a small block chevy that you had to replace the distributor drive gear with a special one to keep it from eatting up the cam. That would be good to know if one ever decided to change out the stock distributor. Thanks

Four posters have been unanimous. What is in question that could need correcting?

If you ever replace the distributor, use the stock distributor gear (or equivalent) to work with the stock cam.

RACE ON!!!
