HELP!Miss/backfire under low rpm load
I have a '94 Lt1 with 58k miles on it. I am having trouble with my car under a low rpm load. When I am in second or third gear under 2k rpms my car loses power, backfires, mises, jolts, or somthing in that nature, then runs great to redline. This does not seam to happen in 1st gear, only in other gears below 2k where I am at more than half throttle. Here is the twist sometimes it is the opposite. I happens in the high rpm range between 4500 and 5500 rpms. Last I checked the only code I am gettign has to do with my A/C not having any pressure change. I have a new coil, plugs and plug wires. Any helpwould be appreiciated.

The car has the original opti spark in it, and going on 58k miles. I was hoping this was not going to be the case. The car has been in NW Fl since it was new and I am sure the rain and humidity has finally taken its toll. Thanks
