Default 1990 w/pump change - heater hoses needed

Changing the pump out - encountered a "nipple" on the right side of the pump that is so pitted it's GOT to be replaced. Followed it back to a metal tee that's in the same shape. That made it clear that all the heater and oil cooler hoses ought to be replaced, as well.

The young man at the Chevy place got the u-shaped heater hose going from the fill tank to the heater core along with new core BUT he's coming up empty-handed for the other heater/oil cooler hoses. Likewise, he can't come up with the nipple or tee.

Can anyone put me onto a source for these items.

I've tried Eckler's and MAM catalogs but these parts aren't in any of them. (Also tried Corvette Central and Corvette America - no joy.)

The tee is located under the a/c compressor and just a bit inboard. I fear that the oil cooler jacket is pitted also, though I haven't been down there to verify. Probably ought to do that tonight, huh?

I'd be grateful for anything you guys suggest. Thanks in advance.

What year is your car?

I've been successful sourcing some hoses from GM
and others from an ACDelco outlet. NAPA wasn't
able to help me with a rad hose I was unable get
GM/Delco but try them for your needs.

Also, check for a source that is a vendor for Gates.
Some have mentioned Dayco but I had unpleasant
experiences with their belts and wouldn't care to use
their hoses myself.

I had a similar problem sometime ago.I was never able to find the hose that runs from the oil cooler to the hard pipe. Ended up doing a mod that works. A standard "T" will work but stay away from plastic. There are a fet parts houses pushing them. I have an extra metal one (if I can find it) if you can't locate one.

Curious.

I changed both short hoses this past summer while I
had the oil pan off of my '89. These hoses came from
GM.

1990 6sp, fx3, electronic climate, convertible.

I've been working w/Bill Heard who is one of the biggest GM dealers in the South and all they've come up with is upper & lower radiator hoses, the heater core, and the u-shaped heater hose. The young man in the parts place is trying real hard to help me out, but not too much luck.

Can you provide a couple of phone #'s?

BTW, thanks for responding.

Mind telling us what about your experience with Dayco?

Good idea on the tee...did you have to replace the nipple on your water pump?

I read an article in "Vette" and they called it a "heater bypass pipe" or something. Any ideas there?
