1995 Ignition Problem
I recently replaced the Opti Spark on my 1995 Vette. The vent line had gotten pinched on a previous installation. After installing the new Opti Spark I began having an intermittent problem. When I drive for about 5-10 minutes the engine will shut down and a DTC 16 will set. I believe that this code shuts down the fuel pump and injectors. When I first attempt to start the engine and turn the ignition switch on, the tachometer will spike a couple of times. The engine will eventually start after several attempts and I can then drive indefinitely without having any problems. Has anyone seen this problem before or have any ideas for fixing the problem?
