Default High Mount Brake Light....

I've just added a high mount brake light to my 85 coupe, and I'm trying to get it all wired up, but both the wires from the unit are Black. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this, or can you tell me which of the wires goes to ground? Or does it even matter??? It does have a two prong connector marked "A" and "B", but I don't know which is which....

TIA

Michael

I added a 3rd brake light to my 92. I found the connector was already on the wiring harness and hidden behind the plastic panel on the left side of the "halo". It was just a simple plug in from there. You might check your harness behind the seats for the plug going to the rear of the car.

Incandescent bulbs don't care about polarity. You should be able to connect either lead to hot or ground.

Be well,
